Dorion had to make a bad trade because he made a bad trade last year giving up his 1st rounder. He needed a player back in the hope that the Sens hit mediocrity next year, and he avoids the humiliation of not getting a top pick next year. It digs the organization further and further down the rabbit hole, which won't get fixed until ownership, GM and coach are gone.

Senators lost a great player over something that HE was not responsible for! I am in no way convinced his gf was either, going to cost me big...new seat coves, flags, and I will be in Ottawa wearing a new 68 sweater! I hope Karlsson leaves them too after this decision!

I picked Florida because Hoffman won the trade. For one he gets to play in the Sun Shine State, he’ll Pay less in Taxes and most likely he’ll put up for points in Florida. As a Sens fan, I gotta say it’s the Sens organization that’s toxic and needs a rehaul...
