We do not need more restrictions period. This country and this providence are suppose to be free. I but a house, I pay for it by working hard, who is the government to come in and tell me who I can let stay in it or when or for how many days? It is MY HOME, stick to running the country and providence and stay out of my business. Only reason the government wants to stick their over reaching noses in is to fold, they want taxes and the big hotel chains give kick backs. The Constitution is clear but no one follows it, no laws or rules to interfere with personal free rights.

There should be restrictions on stand alone STVRS not on a principal resident's property. AND seasonal cottages should be allowed and encouraged to rent out to year round residents. Our young community is dying. There is no where for working class families to live!

The way you worded the poll "Do you think that there should be more restrictions on short term rentals on the island and in other areas where tourism is a big draw? Would that help the situation or should more residents be allowed to rent out their seasonal cottages as long-term rentals? Is two different conflicting questions.
