Humans cause a great deal of pollution on our planet and we are over populated. These beautiful mammals need our help desperately or they will become extinct

The biggest help for resident Orcas, only eating Chinook salmon, would be to put a moratorium on such fishing, incl. recreational quota, so they don’t have to starve to death.

Completely agree with C. Eggertson and P. Leathy, humans have created the health issues for these magnificent mammals and WE seem to be the only specie on the planet that interferes with all other living species.

We probably caused these health issues. So we should do what we can.

Only if the whales being helped are part of an endangered species and the purpose is thus an attempt to save the population rather than to save the individual.

  • P Leahy - 6 years ago

We have created the problems these whales are facing (over fishing and noise pollution etc.) so we should be responsible to intervene when possible
