Should students be expelled if their parents broke the law to get them into elite colleges?

I think that some of these kids are innocent. Most of them had no clue what was going on. The adults in the situation should take control and be thrown under the bus!

Those students had to know very well what was going on.They had to know what exams they were suppose to take and the scores to get. Then there parents say "don't worry honey you will get in". money talks.

This is a complete DISGRACE , when you have some students that work really hard to get into school, whether they are rich or not, they do it on their OWN.
You can be sure there's MORE of this type of behavior from PARENTS that think that money as well as connection can buy all.
Just remember justice delayed is not justice denied.
    SAD, SAD AND REALLY SAD

It doesn't matter if the students knew or not??? Their parents cheated for them to get in!! They are benefiting from fraud!! OMG, students are kicked out of college if they are caught plagiarizing, this is far worse!! If the colleges don't expel them they are perpetuating the corruption. They don't want to kick out the kids because these families are often paying full tuition. The colleges are still trying to keep their money!! Shameful!! If there is evidence that they cheated in anyway to get in, they should be expelled!

They knew even if their parents denied it.The right thing is get all students out. I’m sure their wealthy parents can get them into another school.

If they were admitted as a athlete they had to aware something was fishy. The other thing is to have them retake whatever tests are required to get in the the school. Sounds like some may not be smart enough to get in without cheating. Anyway I think the feds did a great job of catching these people and hope they get the max sentences.

How could the students not have known about this? Those who were admitted as athletes had to quit the team once they started school.

The kids should be given credit for their work completed to date but expelled. They can apply to transfer somewhere else. They probably won't want to stay anyway because they are pariahs.
