What do you think of the Washington Huskies’ new Adidas football uniforms?

The purple gradient stripes on the purple home jerseys is a fantastic touch and an example of the school and Adidas not trying to do too much in making them black or gold. They still achieved a notable, contemporary design element without taking away from the classic Husky look. Further I appreciate doing away with the chrome and purple helmets; I firmly believe the helmet for every school is iconic and should remain the same even if the jersey / pants change, or there are special looks for one game during the season (e.g. all black). Bravo to the university and Adidas for a well done makeover.

The pants need to be changed to be real GOLD color, like Notre Dame gold. Not baby poop. In the old days our pants were a real gold color. As a more than 30 year season ticket holders, my wife and I have complained about the baby poop color for quite a few years to no avail. At least the Nike weasel should be gone and a real Husky dog should be used. GO DAWGS
