I currently haven't upgraded from the iPhone 4S, but I would love to have a phone with upgraded internals in the body of a 4/4S or 5/5S. The small size is easier to use for people with smaller hands, and it is able to slip in pockets easier. It seems like there are others who share my opinion.

So disappointing. I have been excitedly waiting for the next SE purely for its SIZE. There are enough massive phones on the market! Show me an SE-small phone with a nice camera and Touch ID and I’ll buy it. My iPhone 7 is regularly left at home over lugging it around. I will downgrade for size before I’ll upgrade for specs.

No smartphone makers sell a device as small as iPhone 5/5s/SE any more. If you, Apple, make one in the form factor, it will sell like hotcakes, not only to iPhone users but some Android users will flip. You may think X/XS/11Pro, XR/11 and XSmax/11ProMax represent small, medium and large. Wrong. The small is not small enough. It should be 5/5s/SE-sized or even 4/4S.

Here's my advice to apple. Keep the original se form factor, make it full screen, start it off at 64gig, usb type c, a13/14 chip. Do that and no phone will sell more units in that year, not no iphone, i literally mean no phone will do better.

If Apple had made the last ipod full screen we would still be talking about.

I get trying to cut costs. Take the time needed to deliver what people need and not what you want them to buy for lack of options.

I would definitely support the original se body. I will never recommend the 8 form factor. Clearly it's unpopular and I hope Apple won't be stubborn on this. There is a render of an se with the original form factor and iphone x like full screen display. Give us that and I promise apple that they will sell more than any other phone they ever made and if they really want to make a killing on said phone- usb type c. The iphone 8/se shall be a huge flop. Mark my words. Do what the people want and the opposite is true. I put my money where my mouth is.

A full screen iPhone se would be the best phone ever made by Apple. The previous comment was right on when they said Steve Jobs made the phone to fit your hand. They have lost touch by trying to compete with Samsung. What a shame to go from being the technology that was leading to a technology that follows.

I have had apple products since the ice blue iMac, I have used a number of iPhones over the years since giving up my blackberry 7290. I fell back in love with my phone after getting the SE. DO NOT give us an iPhone 8/ SE. its about the size! don't you guys get that! small size with updated internals and a updated screen to me is a winner.
If I wanted. giant screen I would carry an iPad mini.

I used to purchase the latest and greatest iPhone from the 1st generation to iPhone 6. I ditched my iPhone 6 for the SE and still have it to this day. Steve Jobs believed phones should match the ergonomics of your hand and I wholeheartedly agree. Cost is not an issue for me, I just want a phone that I can use comfortably one handed. My SE does not have a case and get comments by strangers all the time by people wishing they had a smaller phone. I'm so attached to my SE that I just purchased an iPhone 11 Pro for my girlfriend to lug around so we can benefit from a better camera....iPhone SE Pro, TAKE MY MONEY!!!

I have an iPhone SE which I really enjoy. The size is right and the camera takes nice pictures. The size is very convenient and image quality is good. I am waiting for the iPhone SE2 to come out in 2020 and will most likely upgrade then.

I am interested in a true 4 inch follow up. The SE is such a good phone. I would actually pay more than 399 for a beefy SE follow up. Not about price for me - it’s all about form factor!

An Iphone SE in the 8 form would be foolish; I would just then buy an 8 (which would also be foolish,) going back to old designs with those ugly wide bezels, definitely NOT. My preference: all screen, no bezels, absolutely TOUCH ID,(not interested in Face, too cumbersome,) fantastic camera with Night Mode, dual lenses 1 wide 1 tele, NO glass back, standalone GPS. I guess I'm talking about something like Iphone 11 but definitely must have a tele.

The only SE I'd be interested in, would need all-screen display in the iPhone 8 size. All-screen display with the old SE size might work, but need to see it first.

I'd love a modernized iPhone 8 at an affordable price. I am against a modernized iPhone SE because the display is far too small and the design is like the phone my grandma has - old.

Dont really mind the iPhone 8 form factor, but would love to see at least a 5 inch screen with slimmer bezels.
Things that need to be in the iPhone SE 2 that will make me considering buying it:
    - latest processor (Bionic A13 or A14)
    - An excellent camera, something similar to its bigger siblings'
    - Battery Life @_@. (Should last a full day on a single charge)
    - Fast charging capabilities
    - And lastly, a physical dual sim support.

Wrong direction for me. I want small and high-end -- an 'executive' model, so to speak -- not 8-sized and low-end. Tough shit for me and my ilk, apparently. Cheers!

for the love of god Tim... price isn't the issue.
please just give us a phone that can be used with one hand and doesn't like like a pop tart in your pocket.

I want an iPhone with the form factor (size) of an iPhone SE, but with a larger display. The iPhone 6–8 size is to large for my hand. I can’t use these size with one hand only and I remember, the first time, I grabbed an iPhone 6 (with one hand) it has been falling out of my hand.

I love the original se. Updating everything inside makes more sense than increasing the size. That was and continues to be the appeal of the se. If Apple. Isn’t going to maintain the size, change the name. Having a lower priced option is great. But, it needs to maintain the size of the one and only se.

I would love to see an iPhone 4 based SE. i was using mine up until two years ago. Now I’ve got the 5 SE and am dreading when it fails.

. I have two iPhone 5 SE’s which incidentally is my favorite model. I had to buy an iPhone 8 because I couldn’t wait any longer for an upgraded iPhone 5 SE. I’m still waiting for a completely upgraded internal & external iPhone SE with the same small mobile footprint dimensions as the original SE.4.87 H x 2.31 W x 0.3 D inches. Even better yet would be the dimensions for the iPhone 4s ( 4.5 H x 2.31 W x 0.37 D inches ) The iPhones have needed a stand alone GPS unit chip that’s not dependent upon Wi Fi Or cellular towers! Thank you for giving the iPhones and the iPad mini Bluetooth 5! Thank you for finally upgrading the MBA’s 2018. The keyboards are still faulty and the FaceTime, video conferencing camera are also not acceptable. I traded in my MacBook Pro for Apple’s latest MacBook Air. It however doesn’t have Bluetooth 5. It should have it and also the stand-alone GPS chip inside of it. Temp/Humidity sensors would be very nice to include in all the units. I should be able to send a fax right from the iPhone. Dr’s, Rx Pharmacy’s,DMV & other agency’s still require you to fax docs to them and won’t accept emails. I could send faxes from other mobile cell phones in 2005. I thank you for all that the iPhones can do and accomplish! I would like my iPhone SE to be as able as what all the other models can do but no camera bumps! Please! I have more to contribute if interested. The iPhone is my wallet now! Keep it small, but the capabilities of all the internals FAT! PHAT!! Thank You All @ Apple!!!!!! Your doing Great! Thomas
