I live in the South. Summer time is HOT and humid. Any time EXCEPT summer is great to 'box!

Cooler yet balmy weather, fewer insects, snakes are sluggish, scenery is lovely. Just have to remember that without all the leaves, it's harder to be stealthy.
And why are all my fall jackets so brightly colored? Who picks these things?

Fewer bugs than summer, though a chance to catch some early butterflies, and don't have to deal with as many leaves covering walls and stuff as in the fall!

Fall definitely. No bugs, fewer muggles, beautiful colours. I can't box during the summer (too busy with summer camp) and spring (unless you do it early) is too buggy. So fall wins out.

Fall/Autumn is my favourite season, followed by Spring. Why Fall? No mosquitos! Cool temperatures - no humidity. Beautiful Fall colours. What's not so great about Fall - burrs in the dog's fur, hunting season.
