Gun - yikes! Well I guess it makes sense in some cases. I am also a camera carrier. Some of my favorite photos were taken on LB outings! I'm on my 5th logbook, but my 10th photo album! Thanks for the survey!

Gotta have a camera! I also take a bandana that is used for many of the items that I didn't check off because with my bandana I don't need all of the other things. My hiking stick, that I usually take, doubles as a monpod for that camera. Fun poll......Thanks, Yak~King blues

to Kirbert: I take it to mean that 100% of letterboxers who choose gear on this list, choose the compass. That is, if 19 people "voted" (at the moment the list says 19 under compass and that's the item that got the most votes, then that would mean they all chose compass. Any it's the one thing that got the most hits. P.S. Thanks for taking the poll Kirbert. :)

I carry a GPS because I geocache also, but leave it in the car when looking for a letterbox so I didn't check that box. I don't use it to get back to the car from a letterbox, I only use it for finding geocaches.

I had backpack checked until I saw shoulder bag, which is closer to what I actually carry so that's what I checked. I'm surprised how many people checked backpack.

Does this mean only 10% of letterboxers carry a compass?
