I'll stick with my space vote, simply because the other trends are establishing themselves now.
I suspect a L/O weapon in space will probably be harder to kill then other platforms after the current trends listed here become common place.
Bear in mind that in order to maintain the high ground with a chance of having a useable combat capabilty the bloodly thing will need a klingon cloaking device.
