Wow! I can't believe the other comments left here. Where do you come from? Your hate is outrageous. Hate directed at a man that has done nothing to deserve it. You are very sad and scared people. Your intolerance and ignorance are mind blowing! He's not going to take your gun, grow up! The black man is not "going to take away your civil rights"! And you people don't even know what socialism is!
The President will be so busy cleaning up the mess that was left for him that it is doubtful he will be able to meet big goals in the first 100 days. Of course the writers here seem to forget that the economy collapsed last September before Obama was in office.
He has begun working on his policy agenda but it will obviously take time. Health care, energy policy, and education are his primary goals. And all the fools that commented here will benefit from the new policies.
My biggest concern is the outrageous character assassinations like the ones I see here. People are truly scary, and a little sickening too. It's very sad but fortunately they don't live where I live!

Obama's theme will be putting a pretty face on our loss of civil rights, more taxation for all, and protecting his rich banking friends who are stealing OUR wealth.
I would like to have a say in where my tax dollars are being spent, and I can tell you for sure I do not want it spent around the world killing babies. How dare Mr. Obama make that decision for the American people. He and Congress are only looking out for what they want not for what is right for us. We have been sold out. Mr. Obama should be ashamed of himself, and he claims to be a Christian. I would like to see an itemized coverage of where all the bailout money went and also where all this other money has gone and is going. We have that right as citizens of this great country.

The biggest thing Barack Obama will change, is the public's opinion of him.
a 5 way tie for most outstanding trends of Obama's 1st 100 days:
incompetence, cronyism, socialism, corruption, incompetence, followed closely by ruthless response to critics & the smugness of a narcissist. I even worry for small individual critics such as you find here. a scary man. Think of combining the incompetence of Carter w/ the deceit of Nixon & the Socialism of McCarthy. that's what we have. Pray. Pray. Pray. Then pray some more. Pray that God changes his heart
His inexperience with politics and socialist view will destroy the American way of life. He was voted into office on false promises and a belief by many that he would provide them with something for nothing. The reality is that America was born on capitolism, not socialism. We cannot continue to give away the "kitty" to others and those who do not deserve it.
America must work to make America succeed. We need to expand our own in country manufacturing the way it was in the 50's and 60's. We have sent everything overseas, especially to China under Clinton's trade agreements. Obama fails to realize what America is really about. We should welcome anyone to our country so long as they can become self sufficent. Welfare programs and lack of immigration policy enforcement are killing us. Obama's "spreading the wealth" policy only promotes slackers. The reality is that everyone in America who truly wants a job can find one. Too many people are content taking their government (Obama) unemployment "pay check". Too many others are skirting the system, not paying the income taxes they should, accepting pay "under the table". Obama must focus on fair taxation, not just simply taxing those who tell the truth about their earnings. Hopefully we can survive the next 3 years, 9 months until Obama is gone.

It is impossible to determine which of the tasks before President Obama will be first. Generally,he has to address all of the inequalities and inequities of the past GOP administrations. Certainly, the economic crises and deficit cannot be resolved without universal health care. The increasing disparity between rich and the rest of us must be reversed.The Bush team used the Government to oppress and to escape responsibility. Where should he start?
He will be known as the president that drove this country into the largest debt
we have ever known. Also the president that turned us to socialism, and led
to the destruction of small business, while increasing the size of government
by over 20%.
