As a teenager (almost 10 years ago), I took my 1969 Buick Riviera to Best Buy's car stereo place to have them install a head unit into my car (not realizing the car would need new wiring and new speakers too). I scheduled the work to be done the next Saturday, but when I got there, they said "Oh, we looked at the sheet and thought it was a joke. We can't do that." I never went back to Best Buy.

Actually, I have been shopping there more in the last couple of years. Best Buy has all but abandoned the computer enthusiast, and I have had GREAT customer service experiences the last couple years at CC. And their sales have been top notch! Now, their tech guys may not be the brightest, but they tried to help as best they could, and I have had managers make things VERY right on a couple of occasions. I will miss CC, and wonder if I am doomed to mail order and internet to find the things I need for my computing.

why didn't I shop there. lets see. staff that clearly had no interest in being there and doing a job and no clue what they were talking about. the 50 cents I might have saved wasn't worth it

I couldn't stand having to wait forever for your purchase to come out on the conveyor belt after you already paid.

Yep, I hated Best Buy too. That's why I was an occasional CC shopper

I got forked over by CC back in 99 and haven't spent one dime there since. Good riddance.
