Okay I'm 25, I'm Asian (Full Chinese actually) and I like Miley, in fact I watch her show and forced my b/f to watch it with me and heck he started liking it too... it's funny and light and good whole some entertainment.

I feel she's down to earth. She's 16 people.. think of all the dumb things you did when you were 16... Miley hasn't come close to doing anything really that bad.

This is really getting out of hand... she already said sorry... TWICE! the second time towards the Asian community that didn't like it when she said sorry the first time.

I agree with the above statement, I think people really need to get off their high horse and take a chill pill, and really this picture is no where as offensive anything Cho might say in her acts about Asain people but hey she's Asian, so it's okay if she says racist things about Asain right? It's like when Afican American people can say the N-word to each other and that's cool but when anyone else says it... *gasp* and they will probably be dead in a week.

We need to stop drawing lines in America... we are all American... we need to stop seperating ourselves from each other by race.

  • One of Asian(not Korean) - 3 years ago

    I'm an asian.
But I can't understand what is problem in that photo.

Only "Koreans" tend to demands apology and compensation.
I think Koreans and other asians are quite different.

  • nini - 3 years ago

It is a Korean not an Asian. Do not roll it up.

  • hiro - 3 years ago

Korean will sue about "Hetalia" anime. OINK! OINK!

  • kk - 3 years ago

Who is the "Asian" race they are reffering to?
I am an Asian, but I don't feel anything offensive in that photo.
    Ridiculous, no more than Oink.

  • fakeKilroy - 3 years ago

    It's another Oink.

Only Koreans (not only south but also north) make and feel it a serious matter. Other Asians do not.
Koreans are geniuses to find out a chance to get money with no efforts by suing a person who do actually nothing wrong.

  • Tired of the Race Card - 3 years ago

I've ranted about this issue before on Margaret's Blog earlier, I don't care what Margaret does and I could give two squirts of piss about Miley, but this lawsuit is blown way out of proportion. People need to learn how to stop being so serious about every tiny little thing. This picture is nothing compared to all the "Race" comments and jokes I've heard. People are too quick to pull the racism card and frankly it ticks me off. "Oh, that's racist because you made slanted eyes to make fun of Asian people or you wore black make-up to mimic black people and yada, yada." If I can laugh about the stupidity of a damn Shoop-da-whoop cartoon that makes blatant fun of black people, this photo shouldn't be that big a deal. And Margaret Cho, I don't know her very well, but I didn't find her song amusing. Really, you're upset with a teenager who did something that might not have been wise, but yet you don't crack down on her friends as well and or others who make stereotypical jokes about how bad Asian people's teeth are and so on? The only reason Miley is getting targeted is because she's a public figure and right now it would be SO easy to dump extra stuff on her because Miley is making not so great choices right now. The people who really should be offended is our ancestors since they've went through hell and beyond with racism, but this generation is bitching about a hint of racism. Kill the damn pride and grow some thick skin. We can't get anywhere and understand each other if we bitch and moan about being made fun of. If comedians can make fun of every race, including their own, why can't we? And also, no one better not come here saying, "Well it's different if you talk about your own race." Not really. Racism even exists within race, so that whole it's different because it's my race bull is nothing but bull. If you talk about it, I'll talk about it too. No one is exempt. There are some black people who hate other black people. There are Asians who hate other Asians. And the list goes on. So yeah, what Miley did in that photo is upsetting to some people, but you know what, I think those people need to take a chill pill. If I can handle being called racist names, and dish it right back out, then this stupid photo should receive a sincere apology and not $4 billion. That woman should get off her high horse and Miley needs to make better decisions. Got me ranting again...

there just use this as a way to get money there like gold diggers

  • C - 3 years ago

this whole lawsuit is freaking ridiculous! and most asians that i've talked to weren't even offended by the photo...they could care less. not saying that it's right to mock any race, but honestly, come on.
