If you are reading this it is probably already too late. You have chosen to venture to this far off section of the channel 4 website, and so you deserve to know the truth. I was a fool, a damn fool. I too watched Heston and yearned for his culinery skills, so I did the unimaginable. I am afraid that i attempted to cook Heston's snail porridge. But the recipe was far too difficult for me, and the snails were terribly undercooked. As you may know an undercooked snail will retain its fatal venom and remain the most poisonous creature known to man. But so blinded by greed was I upon that fateful evening that I no longer cared how cooked my snails were, and I gulped the porridge down like a man possessed.
it is with a heavy heart that i write this last message, a last desperate plea for help, for I know that my hour is growing ever closer. Already I can feel the snail poison eating away inside my body, killing me. I feel that only hours remain for me now. So with my dying breath I must send out an almighty warning to avoid Heston's recipes unless trully prepared.
