Watched this show because it seemed somewhat intriguing, and my wife wanted to see it. The first episode was veeeeryyyyyyyyy slow. It could have been easily rolled into a one-hour show but perhaps if it was only an hour, viewers would have a 50% less chance of accidentally tuning-in. I wasn't really impressed at their attempts to develop a deep back story of the characters and simply found it too boring overall.
I've already committed to LOST, so I only have one guilty pleasure/time waster show to watch. I finally broke free from Prison Break this past year....wow, talk about dragging something out by lame attempts at a twist! :) All in all, I won't be watching KINGS again.
