I use Firefox for my work and safari or google for general browsing. The reason for using safari/chrome is that it loads pretty fast and doesn't leave any process running in the taskmanager after closing. :)
As my computer is starting to feel its age, I'm kind of obsessed with speed, and nothing is as fast or reliable as Chrome. Firefox takes around 5 minutes to startup (not to mention always requiring me 3 clicks in order to start it, because they are afraid of auto-updating addons), and Chrome is near-instantaneous (Safari 4 is the same way, but if it crashes, it crashes all at once, and therefore Chrome is a better choice for me)

Like many people commenting here, I like Firefox for work, but I find I'm using it more for general browsing these days too... it's murderously slow though... Safari is much faster (and I find firefox's bookmark handling deep but clunky... chug chug chug)
Firebug can't be beat at work (and firebug is only available in Mozilla FIREFOX browser!). But for web applications e.g. Facebook, Gmail, I use Safari 4 because its Nitro (squirrelfish extreme) javascript engine is faaaaast. SpeedFTW
Firefox for work (firebug, dev toolbar), Opera for everything else.

this poll is hardly significant, look at the type of people who visit our site regularly and only those people will respond to the poll, that's why Safari is up there.
We're Flock advocates. Weened off Firefox about a year or so ago. There's room for everyone -- the nuances of today allow for really conscious decisions about which/why/when to use certain browsers. But Flock rules, just sayin'. http://flock.com
Firefox on both Mac and PC ~ can't live without the Web Developer toolbar, Firebug, S3Fox (on PC), Zotero. Safari on iPod Touch. Occasionally Chrome on PC.
The Developer Toolbar in Safari 4 is now virtually on a par with Firebug. Interesting to see how few people have chosen IE - presumably just represents the demographic.
LOVING Google Chrome, but I imagine as with most respondants here it's the Add-ons for Firefox I can't give up. No time for IE (on my PC) or Safari (on my Mac).
If I browse sites with txt-content I use Firefox and if I browse media-content I use Lynx :)
Opera 9.6 at this moment. Also have used some version 10 snapshots.
Sometimes I use chrome for javascript heavy sites.
Based on the demographics here, I'm pretty sure most of the votes for IE are people being ironic.
I use Opera.

Safari is fastest, but for web developing nothing beats Firebug.
I use Safari on the iPod touch a lot. I use firefox when i'm working (firebug and web developer toolbar). lately I've been test driving safari 4 too.
Firefox all the way - and only use IE7 for checking
FLOCK! Using a bit of new Safari as well too...too many Firefox issues as of late.
my two favourites are Firefox and Opera - Google Chrome I use to watch porn - and Safari when I need to open something really quickly.
Camino
Opera on Windows Vista, have IE7, Chrome 6, Firefox 3 and Safari 4 installed for checking how my sites look in other browsers.
71% of traffic to my site is ff.
Firefox for work (firebug, dev toolbar), Opera for everything else.

Firefox and sometime Opera
I prefer using Firefox for everything. The add-ons like the Web Developer toolbar, AutoPager, AdBlock, and Firebug make it a joy for browsing the web.
At work: FF and IE7 (PC)
At home: Flock (Mac)
Opera
Why did you leave out Opera in your list? Well, I use Opera... love it!
I only use IE for downloading Firefox :D
Opera.
at work FF and IE 7 at home Chrome
Firefox at home, IE 7 at work, IE5.5 on a legacy PHP development laptop
I use Firefox on my Mac and at work on the PC I use Firefox also. I also use Safari because of my iPhone.
Cheers
No IE6 users so far! Hooray! (IE6, you're going down)
Where is Opera ?
Opera10 (even in Alpha) is simply the best... for me..
i'm sure nearly everyone is using FF...
On my Mac:
Firefox - developing & testing;
Camino - general web use
On pc:
IE7+IE6 testing
The Developer Toolbar in Safari 4 is now virtually on a par with Firebug. Interesting to see how few people have chosen IE - presumably just represents the demographic.
I'm a flockstar! http://flock.com/
I wrote my own today, on top of the OS I wrote last week :D
I think I forgot to include Opera in the poll... ;(
Opera 10 on Ubuntu

I use Flock
I use Safari for general web use and shopping and wasting time.
Firefox for work. Good old Web Developer toolbar.
