Who ever says that Cassano shouldn't be on the team is crazy! He is the most talented italian player, with Giovinco and Santon. What compels Lippi to chose players like Quagliarella, Gattuso, and Iaquinta (despite the fact is producing for Juve) over players like Cassano, Pazzini, and Aquilani?? He's losing his mind and i think he's actually looking to get fired. This has been the worst italy squad since the world cup and as defending champions thats not good. "Suresh"....you say that the result of this poll is due to a pro cassano blog??? Are you Lippi's son? It's not about a blog its about FACTS! Cassano is needed and Lippi is making a mistake. He should leave players like Gattuso, Legrottaglie, Toni, Montolivo at home because the simply aren't made for international football yet. Bring in young players. Giovinco for example is amazingly talented and everyone knows this but just because Ferraras decision to keep him as a sub gets in the way of him getting a call for italy. Imagine seeing Giovinco as a CAM play along side Cassano and Rossi in the front. That would be the most feared attack in international football! Those of you who believe Lippi is right are simply WRONG. Lippi should wake up and give the young players their time to shine or he should simply stay home and chose his poor squad on FIFA 2010 gameplay.
You should not give the link for this poll at the end of a very pro-Cassano blog entry. Obviously it affects the judgment of the voter and he is going to vote for Cassano. Go and check a similar poll on Goal.com. Only ~55% voters have called for Cassano to be included in the National Team.
