Many of the same people who helped created the economic mess are now in charge of fixing it; (There is plenty of blame to spread around both the Democratic and Republican parties.)
The solution to massive debt is not to create more debt. Both taxes and government spending need to be cut. Restore the Glass-Steagall Act.
Incompetence, fraud, and rapacious greed are being rewarded at the expense of the tax payer.
Just wait until inflation kicks in.
