Firstly, I'd like to say that I love Sonic Style. It's the best Sonic website in my opinion & I love it much more than Sonic Stadium or any other Sonic site. I know it doesn't post Sonic news or whatever, but I really could care less about reading about "OMG!!1111!! SITE UPDATE LOLZ!!1111!". What I love about Sonic Style is 1 thing, and 1 thing only. The media section. Their music section is, in fact, so well-done that it's amazing! O: It has the best media section out of EVERY Sonic site, or any site, EVER! I how the Mp3 thing works and it's amazing :)
I'm sad to see Sonic Style die out. It's been almost an entire year since their last post (and update for that matter). I've been with Sonic Style since the beginning. Today is the 21st of February, 2011, and their last post was on February 15, 2010. This has been the fastest year in my life so far, and I still remembering reading new psots from Sonic style :) Oh, how I miss it >______

Snooping, I am a boy. I've also decided to change back to biggest sonic fan because that's what I really am. And also, my last post was a long time ago so I've changed alot. I go less off hand now and I am a very nice member.
They should make a 3D Tails game because there hasn't been one since Sonic DX.
It is a bit of a no-brainer question really. 'Main Series' is what most sonic fans wanna see come out of SEGA, not more pointless spinoffs.
Well, I believe that we've all seen the recent success of the main series, as Sonic Colors was released. That was such an exceptional game; SEGA really did it. What they did to improve was simply looking at criticisms of previous Sonic games. Way to go, SEGA. If they succeed in developing Sonic games such as this, Sonic just might kick the fatass plumber's ass again in video games (you know who I'm talking about).
I don't believe a storybook series is essential, but if SEGA manages to develop a GOOD one, then that's good.
Racing I would accept, if they can create an acceptable game. One without flaws.
I think a couple party games would be nice for Sonic. Sonic doesn't deserve a crappy one, such as Shuffle back in '98. Party games would attract those of multiplayer game intrest into the Sonic Franchise. And SEGA cannot make a crappy one once more.
Spinoffs do distract Sonic main series, but if SEGA wants to make a spinoff, it wouldn't hurt to make a couple as long as they don't lead away from the main series so much and aren't of poor quality.
Overall, I believe SEGA needs to focus on main series and party games. These would really bring good attention to the franchise. They also need to pay attention to the reception of their games, so as to learn from their forehand failures. I say Sonic faces another golden era.
And to biggest shadow fan ever, I like your enthusiasm and devotion to Sonic. I noticed you can go a little offhand, however. It's nice too see how numerous we Sonic fans can be. I'm not as die-hard as you, but I do have some knowledge of Sonic myself. Just curious, are you a guy or girl?

It has been a loooooooooooooooong wile sinse my last comment and sinse then, I have changed a lot. I have thought a lot and listened to people and I believe... I have over done it a little bit. FINE! Maybe not a little bit. Maybe a lot. But you get the point.
I have been a bad sonic fan. I tried to show off and make myself look like the best.(BUT I AM STILL NOT A FAG!)
Every sonic fan has the right to say something. and I do not believe that I am the biggest sonic fan. But that is my dream and I will do anything to reach that GOIL, no matter what.
But I do think that I did over do it a bit. All that talking about breaving sonic... that was soooooooo lame.

good for you Shadow and Sliver are awsome. But I think that between us I am the bigger sonic the hedgehog fan because more sonic stuff And I love him more than anything on the world! I even love the werehog stages in sonic unleashed. But I also love fast paste more. But still I got more stuff. I got his new AND old games. I also got a few T-shirts of him and I am also collecting the comics. I got a sonic shelf and I put everything related to sonic in there. Even any sonic thing I see in game magezins. I even dream of him and my brain is full of sonic information and nobody can beat me in an ultimate sonic quize(if there was any)! I have also watched many sonic stuff on YouTube including the famouse sonic in the werehog night and the sonic the hedgehog movie. I also have watched other people's animations of sonic like Sonic in Nazo Unleashed which is a breleant animatical movie. I have watched many sonic the hedgehog reveiws and know about all sonic the hedghoeg games. ALL! I only got sonic the hedgehog songs in my I pod and I love them And I dont even regret having to hear one of them(well maybe sonic and the secret rings:seven rings in hand). Ofcourse I HATE and by that I mean HEATEEEEEEEEEe MARIO! He is A Fat ITalian Guy Who cant say anything except "Hello! it's me MARIO!". I mean that sucks man!

Hey Biggest shadow the hedgehog fan ever, I am also a hudge Sonic the hedgehog fan to! I like have all the new games of sonic. I Personaly like the newer games because the older games are in 3rd Person While the newer games are in 2nd person veiw so you can steer past the enmies instead of jumping over them or haveing to kill them all. I didnt like the Night stages on Sonic unleashed because of you being slower and have to do more puzzles. I Really like the fast-paced games so Sonic games are peferct for me.
I loved how in the storybook series how they change the charaters (like how Shadow was lancelot in Sonic and the Black Night) but am more interested in the games that have the chareters act out the scenes were they are talking and explaining what is happening next instead of paper figures telling what happing next. I kinda gives a little more life in the game. ALSO, I am a HUDGE fan of Shadow the hedgehog and Silver the hedgehog.
Those are my thoughts on a new game. Of course, pretty much any game Sega puts out about Sonic the Hedghog i would get Because of the fact I love the games they make!

But Finally I found a Comic collectable store and they sell most of sonic's comics. They have the sonic archeves volium and also got the new ones. I'd love to see anything with chao again, I mean come on, who didn't love those adorable little creatures, and working with them to make them super strong! It added so much more to the gameplay of the "Sonic Adventure" era.
Heh, maybe they should make a "Sonic Adventure 3" using all the old characters and new chararcters they've created since then (don't forget the chao!).

Okay, here's my opinion:
Spinoffs are, like what was said before, what is killing the Sonic series. And if SEGA is going to come out with an awesome Sonic game,they should do it now, not after the fans get ticked off.
Some racing games are okay, but I wish that they would go back to plain RUNNING like in Sonic R.
The Storybook series is fine, so long as it isn't the ONLY thing out there.
Sonic Unleashed would have been a lot better if the story had been Sonic and Knuckles and the werehog levels had been the Knuckles levels.
The main series is what needs to be pulled up. What I would really like to see is SEGA to combine with Archie Comics in making a game with a lot of the Archie Sonic characters and an actual epic storyline (not like Sonic the Fighters).
Also, a lot of the Sonic music has been good, especially in STH 2006, as well as the storyline in earlier games, but recently the gameplay has REALLY sucked.
Main Series should be the MAIN focus.
I'd have to go with main series, storybook, or racing. possibly spin off too. sonic unleashed was great, except for the night stages. i hated those parts!!! sonic and the black knight looks awesome, not to mention great graphic effects. i also agree about keeping to the main series story line(nothing to do with werehogs please!) just focus on what sonic is famous for:speed. but i also support spin offs. knuckles should without a doubt get a game of his own. maybe even silver. well, that's my insight on it anyway.
P.S i know this has kind of nothing to do with this and would involve nintendo working on it too, but would people favor a game where mario and sonic work together?? it could be awesome!!! i don't know how it would work out with the gaming world, but i know there are other people who want it to happen. anyone feel like commenting on what they think??

Jack and Austin, you need to do your homework/reaserch, there IS a Sonic Battle game with ALL the Sonic characters in it. It's called Sonic Battle, and it's for the Game Boy Advanced. It's easily one of the best hand held games I've ever played, period. However it is greatly deserving of a sequel I'd admit. Other than that though, main series, all the way. When's the last time Knuckles has guarded the Master Emerald to the extent he should? Like, Sonic Adventure 1? O_O

While I loved Sonic Riders, I'd have to say I think Sonic should stick to the storybook series, so the fanboys will finally stop bitching >_> Project Needlemouse seems promising to that group, but I'm not really looking forward that much to a 2D game when Sonic can do just fine in 3D. Granted, I do think it will be awesome, but it could definitely be better if it were pure 3D speed.
Over that, I don't think the main seires should continue on the Wii. SEGA should put its focus into the Hedgehog Engine. So unless Nintendo finally creates a console that's compatible with a powerful graphics engine, (in this case the Hedgehog Engine) the main series should be 360/PS3 exclusive and the Wii shoulg continue with the Riders and Storybook series.
Sonic Team needs to focus on the MAIN FREAKIN STORYLINE. They need to expand on the story show us something new. Enough of all of these cheap a@@ racing and fablebook games. When will Sonic Team continue the story?!!

I'm not a "official" fan of Sonic but after hanging around my friends who double as a bunch of crazy Sonic fans and browsing around deviantArt, Sonic has grown on me. A while ago I played Sonic adventure 1 and the only reason I didnt like it is because It wasnt a "pure" adventure game such as Super Mario 64 and Spyro the Dragon (before he contracted Rabies, got terribly maimed by a truck and getting forcibly casted in a new game by Sierra i.e: the legend of Spyro)

Sonic and the Black Knight seems very intresting and I would love to try it. The storybook series is a cool concept that Sonic Team has developed and one day, mayby one of these games might introduce a all new concept for us new comers.
