Metro is planning for the next 30 years of mass transit. What should the priority be for MAX?

• Stop wasting money on light rail; concentrate on roads and highways.

• Expand by connecting suburbs, such as Milwaukie-Lake Oswego-Tigard or Clackamas-Oregon City-Tualatin.

• Stop adding lines but make current ones faster, perhaps with an east-west express tunnel underneath downtown Portland or a north-south express line through the inner eastside.

• Expand to new areas, such as Tigard, St. Johns, Forest Grove and Troutdale.
