It was a historical event, as was His resurrection.

I don't know. I am a happy agnostic like Bart Ehrman.

This whole crucifixion/resurrection thing can't be true. Science precludes such things as a man rising from the dead after a couple of days.

I don't know. I would like to have a concrete answer.
