I'm horrified to hear about what happened to that poor woman. My prayers and condolances go out to her and her family. May she rest in peace.
Considering this terrible incident, I don't think that Craig's List should be banned. CL is my life line and I use it to earn my living. This could have happened by using any website. Such as the dating websites. Does that mean that those websites should be banned as well? If that's the case, then there should be a complete shut down of the internet. We all know that's not ever going to happen. Therefore. every individual that uses the internet must be more alert and more precautious about whom they communicate with online.
Perhaps by asking more questions and doing research on the people they deal with online will help as a prevention for falling into the traps of these preditors. And prehaps we can capture these preditors before they go through with thier plans to hurt others. Craig's list is great! Don't Blame CL. Blame the relentless and crimal minded users.

I have found some really great deals on Craigslist and I will continue to use it. It is an excellent platform for the exchange of ideas, goods and services in local communities across the country. People that set up casual sexual encounters whether on Craigslist, dating websites or the personals in the newspaper are always at risk of being taken advantage of and should take the proper precautions against this or avoid the behavior all togther. Any incident that occurs because of an encounter on Craiglist is due to a fault on either one of the parties and not the responsibility of the website. In the case of this woman, she should have been more cautious before meeting a strange man by herself.

Craigslist has offered a new way for people to cheat. I was in a committed relationship for 8 years and found my spouse using craigslist to meet women. I think it should be for finding used furniture, apartments and local jobs.
I prefer loqqad for local classified ads
