Brockton should be ashamed of themselves. Veterans should be a top priority. First, we stop honoring them with the parade,, then we will have one or two less services and in a few years time they will not be honored at all. Get your priorities straight here people. Like Alex said did the city ask for help? It was just too easy to push the veterans to the back burner. Don't let this happen. Especially at a time when we have men and women fighting in foreign lands. LET US HONOR THOSE WHO PROTECT US!!!

Brockton can't afford to have a Memorial Day parade to honor those who have fallen to protect our way of life? Shame on Brockton, Shame, Shame, Shame.
Did the Mayor, or any other politician approach any individuals or organizations to see it volunteers could do what is needed and allow a parade to go on?
