we need the mayor to do more for these streets and are children who get caught up in these bad herion drugs and make more beds availble to kids who need and want the help not just 2 weeks of rehab than back on the streets to do it all over again we need more drug rehabs and more help on these streets we live in people have no jobs and you ask should they get a raise hmmm i dont think so feed the poor and cure the wars

"Home-rule legislation" should not function in this time of crisis. The raises that the Mayor, et al, are scheduled to receive should be given to the Police, Fire, School Dept. and Library.

Letter of the law or not, a raise can be declined. "Let them eat cake," seems to be the sentiment regarding we the economically suffering people.

    Not very nice at all.

Lets talk about pay cuts starting with the top and going down.
I am a tax payer, and there is not anyone in this city worth
paying over 100,000. With all the bennys people get everyone
should be cut, so other people dont get laid off. The idea is
to save jobs, and stop being greedy. Come on Mayor do
    something.
