    Mike,
I voted for this years team. The '95 team did not have a clue of the dedication nor appreciate the opportunity to bring home a championship. The
fans acted like spoiled brats at the worst and ignorant at the best, taking for granted the opportunity that Shaq had brought by giving him a thumbs down in a poll. I'm saying this as a Magic not a big Shaq fan.

Enjoy your work... don't you leave us.

Mike, I picked this years Magic & Dwight vs the '95 team & the Big Shaftus (uh, I mean Shaqtus!) because I think the team and the city are much more grateful for the title run now. They've suffered through the bad times (hockey GM anyone?) I was here in 1995 and it was a big deal but it was almost like with the talent we had people expected us to do well. Now we have really great talent and everybody is going on about King James and Kobe and the Magic are flying under the radar. Which is a good thing. They do better when they have a bit of a disrespect chip on their shoulder! Magic in 6 Blue & White Ignite! Heidi Orris

    Mike,
Love your articles. I think the big difference between the two different teams are that the 1995 was kinda of expected to win and we are not expected to win now. I voted for todays team vs the 95 team. I have followed the Magic since 1989. I beleive we will win as long as we play our game. GO MAGIC!!!!!

    Mike,

Really love your work. To me, 1995 was a whirlwind with Shaq, Penny, Nick and company. It caught us by surprise to get that good, that quick. Make no mistake about it, we (Orlando) loved it. However, I have voted for today's Dwight team for two reasons. There appears to be a genuine sincerity with this team that was lacking from Shaq and a few. Also, I'm not sure if the 1995 success (or Finals loss) was handled as mature as I think this team will if this situation repeats itself.
