If I wanted to live with animals,I'd build a barn anlive with them. Screw YOU Air Canada....1 more reason not to fly with those morons.

Surely Air Canada has a plan to segregate and filter air and to keep pets away from people with allergies???

    Hey M

Stay home!! Take your car, that is yours and you have every right to be in full control of your atmosphere in your own car. When you're out in the big bad world with everybody else, then deal with it. I paid good money too, why should I be affected by your allergies..

My cats have travelled with me for over 50 years and I have never had a problem. It is rewarding to see that I can again travel with Air Canada as to
fly to a cat show there is only one way, in my opinion, to get your pet there -with you.

I would rather be on a plane full of dogs than have even one baby on a plane. dogs generally are calm and happy. If you have alergies, perhaps you should take a claritin, or even better, spend time with a furry creature and let it change your mind

I'm more worried about the health risk to the passengers.

As someone highly allergic to cats, I disagree with Air Canada's change in policy. I paid good money to fly in comfort and will unfortunately be subjected to a furry friend who will cause me to go into a severe allergic reaction. I will not be able breathe due to my respiratory reaction, will not be able to see due to the watery itchy swollen eyes, itchy skin and rash formation, and am stuck on a plane to to be exposed the furry creature with no relief until we land.

Better yet, have to make the plane make an emergency landing to take me to the hospital.

Those of you how will just say, take allergy medication before you board....it lessens the reaction but when you can't breathe, you need to reduce the exposure to the problem and that won't happen if you are over the ocean.

Thanks Air Canada for making my flight so much more uncomfortable.

We have a mini daux. that travels with us when ever possible,as we refuse to put it in a kennel. We choose to travel Westjet, as they allow us to carry our pet with us, It fits under the seat, and is a bother to no one.

Bit of a skewed vote question but let's say I'm against it for safety reasons as well as health and general comfort. Just leave the pets at home. Bad idea changing the policy Air-Canada, and it looks like a money grab while at the same time they are asking for a government (TAX PAYER) bailout. Not greedy much eh?
