These online polls are rather unscientific. Maybe people who watch another morning show are more inclined to support marriage equality. Just last week, a poll found growing support for same-sex marriage in New York that reflect different numbers than these.
The Quinnipiac University poll found 51 percent of New Yorkers support the legalization of same-sex marriage. Forty-one percent oppose it. This is the first time the Quinnipiac poll found majority support for the measure. We've reached the turning point, and there's no it's ever going back.
All New Yorkers deserve equality, and that's just what we're going to get.

Who says the "traditional" way is the only right way? Like Nancy Thomas said, this is a free country.

Love, respect, generosity and peace, is what NY and US should stand for. How can we stand for Freedom, when our kids, friends, neighbors, classmates are not free to live happy and be equal as everyone else? How can we stand for Freedom in other countries when people still have "chains" here in the US?

Everyone wants to love, to live free and to be happy. There is no crime in love. Love is never wrong. Every marrage is a spiritual experience of two people in love. It's XXI century and time to really stand for freedom, acceptence of diffrences, and most of all LOVE! Everyone has a capacity to love. Gay people should be allowed to get marriade in NY... and everywhere in USA. Should get same rights as heterosexual couples.

Tradition and morals are two words that are almost extinct in this country.
