Michael Jackson earned the distinction as the King of Pop and should be remembered for his talent in music, dance, breaking barriers culturally, his charity work, love of children, innovative videos that shaped MTV and influenced so many other talented performers and fans alike around the world.

I've been reading horrific comments regarding the great life of the great and only one Michael Jackson, how in the world can people be so cruel. MJ had finances that people wanted to get at. Child molestation is nothing to lie about and from the beginning I was sickened to think people had the nerve to accuse MJ. Those around him knew his value and the accusers wanted to steal a piece of his wealth. Those that harshly speak of him in his death should be ashamed of themselves, as they probably were a one time avid fan of MJ. As for this fan, MJ I love you, always have and always will!!! One of my favorite birthday gifts given to me when I was a child was a life size cardboard poster of you. I remember standing next to it as you stood tall beside my pint sized self. KEEP SINGING AND DANCING LOUD AND STRONG IN THE HEAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We should all remember Michael Jackson as the King of Pop. My 26 yrs of life, I've known him as the King of Pop, so why change it to something else? We shouldn't think about his faults but give him the respect for being a creative entertainer to rise above decades and earn the title as the King of Pop.

With all the allegations that were made against him Michael Jackson was never found guilty, so he'll always be the one and only KING OF POP. He needs to be remembered for his true abilities.

Everyone wanted to be like "Mike" Jackson way before Jordan. I will remember him as the King of Pop. We can't forget that he was the first artist to break the color barrier for MTV. I can't forget the time when I was 5 and I used to put on a glove and hat and tried to dance like Mike. Plus, he is know in every corner of the world and everyone no matter what age has a favorite Michael Jackson song, video, and dance.

From his signature dance moves to his top selling album of all time, how could you not consider Michael Jackson the "King of Pop"?

He abused young boys and got away with it. If his was john smith and not Micheal Jackson he would have been a registered sex offender. We shouldn't idolize him we should forget him.

"The King Of Pop" always... he had some issues, but his music and talent will live forever. I pray his soul is at rest.
