I think all of you who speak ill of Michael will reap what you so. How would you like to be falsely accused of things that aren't true? he tried to help kids and the world through his music. He was a great role model, half the entertainers in the industry help with charities because Micheal set the standard Guinnes Book Of World Records have him with the most charities supported. I truly believe that as far as sexually relations with kids, Michael died a VIRGIN in every since of the word, I don't think he has ever had sex with anyone. All you hypocrites keep knocking the man, but i guarantee 80's and 90's you were shaking your @$$ off and no matter what he is still the #1 entertainer of all time and the undiputed KING OF POP!!!

It has been way too much. People will glorify a child molester just as long as he is black in the US. It is pathetic!

Way over the top. A memorable performer - you betcha. But the non-stop coverage for the last 1.5 weeks clouded much, much more important issues. The night of his death, the entire network news production had nothing else. The network tabloids will have this for many months to come.

The media coverage has been an absolute freek show. It all boils down to what sells the most coverage. I have never seen a person who disliked himself so much and yet idolized for his talent in singing. The only role model he should present to the public is what not to become.

The man was a disgraceful oddity. He belonged in a freak show tent, adults only, not on the air. If he hadn't kept up the freak show, he'd have faded like any other has-been. he was a terrible role model for everyone- he wasted hundreds of millions- and pretended to be a generous philanthropist when he wouldn't even pay his own bills. The only charities he really contributed to were AIDS and children's charities, and the children's charities only because he got close to children that way. It's sad he's been so lionized. He was an awful human being.

People have grown up with Michael Jackson. A lot of singers have profited from what he did by getting in the entertainment spotlight. Charities have also profited from him. This country has always been trying to find something wrong with Michael. Why is it that when someone is doing well , the media tries to find fault with them even if it isn't true. He was exonerated from all counts of impropriety with children. Children being naive can be made to do anything their parents want. I believe that Michael was trying to show the love he had in his heart for children because he was not given the love all children thrive for. So he paid one child hoping that would be the end .However, I believe that greed paid a large part in the accusations. I have 5 grown children d will be 19 grandchildren and 1 great grand child. I know why children do what they're told.

It's a sad day for America when people will honor, a person such as Michael Jackson. It definitley was not a role model for anyone. His life was full of drugs and sexual improprieties.

I TOTALLY AGREE THAT A LOT OF THE INFORMATION IS SPECULATION AND A LOT OF REPEATED INFORMATION, BUT THE FACT THAT WHEN HE WAS ALIVE EVERYONE OF U WANTED TO HEAR THE MAN'S TOTAL LIFE STORY AND HIS DEEPEST SECRETS AND HE HAD NO PRIVICY AND NOW U ALL ARE BEING SUCH BIG HYPOCRITES AND ENVIOUS AND A WHOLE LOT OF OTHER THINGS. YOU NEED TO SHUT UP.

The coverage over the death of Michael Jackson is way out of line. Political figures who have made real changes for people have not gotten anywhere near the amount of coverage Michael Jackson's death has received. A lot of the coverage is speculation, and a lot repeats information already published. Enough is enough. K Watson
