Firefly, Angel & Buffy are my comfort shows. If I am unbearable stressed I watch mostly Firefly now. Dollhouse? I tried my best to like it. Finally figured out what was missing. Wit. (Not the perfect storm.) Plus, I don't particularly care about any of the characters. The storyliine did get much more exciting towards the end of the season. But the continuing storyline seemed sort of disjointed. That major violence out of nowhere in the beginning threw me off. Maybe the network forced Joss to show episodes in the wrong order again. If Firefly had started out with Joss' pilot episode introducing the characters, it would probably have went several seasons. But without humor and an affinity for the characters, Dollhouse is still a dud for me. Sorry, Joss.

How on earth can anyone think Firefly is better than Buffy. Firefly is very good and was cancelled before it's time, but I mean come on, it's Buffy. nuff said. The only season of Buffy I thought wasn't very good was 1, and that's forgivable. I

While Firefly is number one for me (it's the whole package - characters, script, cinematography), it doesn't have the same nostalgic element for many Whendon fans that Buffy does.
Buffy may have taken a little while to hit its acting and script writing stride, but keep in mind that once it did oh boy did it stride! Plus a seven year relationship with the characters is pretty hard to beat.....
You should battle it out on the voting page on scifi, there's a lot of Firefly supporters commenting there, but you'll have to fight through the Buffy fans...
@terra - not to burst your bubble, but nathan fillion was on a season of buffy as well. granted, i still enjoy firefly a little bit more.
