Why does no one care about the environment? Do you really want to be the one explaining to your kids in 20 years from now about why there are no more polar bears and/or panda bears? Yes, children need food and depressed people need support, but the animals are being punished for our actions. They have no control over what is going on in the world, and they can't help themselves. I voted the WWF because every animal should be saved. They shouldnt be killed by poachers or by the global warming problems. Let the animals live happy and normal lives. It makes me sad when I see animals being tortured or left for dead. HELP THE ANIMALS BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.

I had a hard time deciding between Invisible Children and The Water Project. The Water Project is trying to save people's lives in terms of keep them healthy with clean water. That's a great cause, but I ended up voting for Invisible Children. They're trying to save lives and enhance the quality of life for little children.

It's very hard to pick just one charity because they're all important.
However i'm going to vote for the water project. The money can help build a well that could last a long time. It is important that people get clean water. It's good for their health.
Instead of constantly supplying the people in poverty with medecine.. We could supply them with the sources to prevent the spread of disease so that they are less likely to get it in the first place. In this case, it's clean water.
(Of course there are other cases where people are chronically ill + other stuff that require medecine but you know where i'm going)

I agree with some people on here. I also voted for the World Wildlife Fund. I didn't even hesitate to decide which one I should vote for when I heard WWF. There are more human charity than animal charity so it shouldn't hurt to just donate once to animals. They are as beautiful as us humans and should deserve it also.

I Would like to vote for all of these great charities but since i can only vote for one, I voted for feed the children. Let's face it there is no right or wrong vote here, all charities need funding to make a better tomorrow. I just wished that Kevin would distribute the earnings towards all above mentioned charities. If he does then all will benefit even if the amount is not as big as oppose to giving it to one charity but i believe any donation is critical and well appreciated by any charity.

I would vote for anything except the WWF because it has raised enough money since it first started in 1961. The Water Project I would vote for because it gives sick people and everyone clean new water instead of polluted water. I also would choose To Write Love On Her Arms because it helps people with emotional pain get through there problems and to make everything better. I would also vote for Feed The Children because children who are starving all over the world and don't have enough money or items to get food could be used by this charity to gain money which means whatever money they get could go to other things that could rebuild there future. Feed the Children and WWF are already big organizations. From what I saw, I think that the Water Project could use the money more than the other two. The Water Project doesn't just have clean water sent in, but digs wells so people in Africa and India can continue getting clean water.

There's only 5% forest land left in the US, but over 50% of our animals live in it. Why does no one care about the environment? Do you really want to be the one explaining to your kids in 20 years from now about why there are no more polar bears and/or panda bears? Yes, children need food and depressed people need support, but the animals are being punished for our actions. They have no control over what is going on in the world, and they can't help themselves. for those of you that don't know, here's a little info about the charities:
Invisible Children (which I'm an avid supporter of) is a nonprofit organization working to bring relief and peace to East/ Central Africa, focusing mainly on the war torn Uganda. They are working on ending a 23+ year war (the longest running war in Africa), ending the many massacres and murders that occur there too often, and bringing the thousands of abducted children back home. The abducted boys are ripped from their families and made into soldiers and the girls are turned into "wives" to the leader of the rebel group. There's so much crap going on there, it's hard to fit into one paragraph, but I really strongly encourage you to watch their documentary: http://therescue.invisiblechildren.com/en#/watch/. It's 30ish minutes long and it's not boring. Do something worthwhile with your time and get off youtube :P

I voted for Invisible Children, though all the charities are really important and worth donating to. I just think IC is worth voting for the most because not only does the IC team provide education, jobs, food/water, and relief, but they're working to end a giant mess there in general-- war. I understand children are the future so we've got to feed them and animals are important, and the whole world needs to worry about water... but people are suffering every day RIGHT NOW. There are children trying to forget that they saw their mother or father or brother or sister butchered in front of them, or that they just had to take another person's life so that he himself wouldn't be murdered. Mothers and fathers are missing their children. It's not just something happening in Africa, it's a HUMANITARIAN issue that the world should know about.
I personally find so much joy in helping out IC and being part of a movement like it. That is something TWLOHA, Feed the Children, the Water Project, and WWF don't quite bring me.

I really hope that WWF wins the charity contest this month! They're the only organization out there trying to preserve Madagascar (and esp. rosewood trees) for a special species of lemurs that's pretty much driven to EXTINCTION due to rapid deforestation! Lemurs are such cute little creatures, it's an utter SHAME to have them wiped out simply because people want to cut down their homes (rosewood trees) because they make pretty furniture!

Guys, I'm just saying, but I think it means a lot more to help out either Feed the Children or Invisible Children or The Water Project.
These will help PEOPLE that are really suffering.
They are in dire need for things we take for granted.
Sure, I love WWF and what it is supporting, but to be blunt, if I had to choose between help a person from dying or an animal, I know I would choose helping a person.
But, this is your decision.

WWF. I think all of the charities are important, but I read some of the comments. I dont think we, "humans" should think of ourselves as a supreme race. We shouldn’t forget the animals, they are also living, breathing creatures and we depend on them. They don’t have a voice to protest. We’re taking away so much from them. Their homes, there food, and sometimes we even kill them just because their fur might look good as a rug. They deserve more than that from us. All living beings are important save all of them one at a time. Feed the Children is also a very important cause, so if I doesn’t win don’t get all upset about it. Just nominate it again and vote for it. Also, if you feel so strongly for that cause, why not just donate independently? Lastly dont bash other charities or people that believe in other charities just because you dont feel the same, everyone deserves there own opinion.

I want to vote to feed them too but a human can last up to a month without food but usually less than a week without water and fresh water is required for agriculture as well. I voted TWLOHA because that's a charity close to my heart. Suicide & depression is much more real than you realise. Everyone is affected by the issues TWLOHA works against, making it one of the most relevant charities here. Also, charites such as WWF & Fees the Children get alot of commercial recognition & sponsorship, therefore I don't think they need the money (which is mostly spent on admin costs, advertising & other business expenses) as much as charities such as TWLOHA & Invisible Children (another amazing charity, they actually spend very little money on admin etc, however the recent support from Fall Out Boy shows that they need this support less than other charities such as TWLOHA).

I voted for Invisible Children. I just learned about them this spring, but they make it so easy to participate, and they get real results. It started as 3 college guys who have dedicated their lives to helping thousands of kids in central Africa who have nothing because of ongoing terrorism in their region. This area is in severe need of everything from food and clean water to basic housing and schools. This organization is the real deal! Although children are the future, you gotta think of the food chain. To improve the end, we must fix the beginning. If you are really worried about those children starving, you'll do what is necessary to make sure animal species don't die out. WWF also doesn't just go towards the benefits of animals, but towards the benefits of plants and habitats.

Isn't it sad about all of the worlds greatest animals are dying out? Especially the polar bears. If we don't help them soon the next generation of children won't ever see them. Sadly, people are the main causes of wildlife extinction. I believe we need to help these poor dying creatures since we caused it.
If you are one caring about mankind more than animals, think about all the wild animals dying out. If we have ALL these animals die, the food chain will break and we, too, will die out.

I voted for The Water Project because you can survive so much longer without food, you can only survive up to 4 days without water. And all those places with with unsanitary water suffer from so many water related diseases, which would make people more dehydrated, thus furthering their need for clean water.

I voted Invisible Children because I think it's important that the war in Northern Uganda ends and we are able to catch Joseph Kony and rescue the children soldiers so that they can go back home to their families, so that the displaced can go back to their villages, and so that the people of Northen Uganda, the Sudan, and the Congo do not talk around in fear of being abducted.

dammit i wish i could have voted more than once, because WWF is such a great cause, that i wish it had won. There are so many charirites out there that bring attention and money towards starving children or people in need. but we all forget about the animals. we have put them in the situation they are in. we have taken their homes to build our own homes, hunted them for their fur and for food, and now we choose to forget them and only think of ourselves. i'm happy for invisible children winning, but i really wish people wouldn't write things like "people over animals" and "i don't care about animals". it's selfish and ignorant. think of the animals that lost their homes [and probably died] in the development of yours.

WATER PROJECT!
Clean safe water is the most important issue in many of the worlds poorist countrys. It provides a life line for entire familys and helps stop the spread of deisese. A simple supply of clean water will save 1000's of lives and is the most efficiant use of KevJumba charity!

I voted for Invisible Children because its about saving child soldiers. There's been a 23 year war (since 1986) going on in Uganda. Now its spread to the Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, and Sudan.
Over 30,000 children have been kidnapped since 1986, usually from age 9 and up, and forced to be child soldiers in Joseph Kony's army. It is called the Lords of the Resistance Army (L.R.A.). In many cases, the kids who are in the army have been forced to watch their brother or sister be brutally murdered and they were then told that if they tried to escape they would be murdered as well. No records have been kept so we don't know how many Joseph Kony has kidnpapped, killed, or the ages of the children.
Joseph Kony is essentially a modern-day Hitler, and these kids do not have a choice. I would encourage each of you to go to www.invisiblechildren.com to learn about the 23 year war.

I voted for the Water Project because everyone needs clean water to live, and this way you can directly see how your donation is improving the quality of someone's life...clean water can help prevent diseases and illnesses brought on by unclean drinking or washing water...you can see updates on their site when they put new wells or fountains that pump freshwater to schools, towns, and villages...so it's not just saving a life, it's saving an entire community ^_^

i vote for world wildlife fund bcuz first i like animals. specially penguins (i hope they'll help the penguin cuz of global warming). plus theres a lot of animals dieing out there and more than humans. cuz humans eat animal too. im not a meat person (im not a vegeterian either), but imagine all the animals die, then we eventually die too, lierally. then the only thing keep us alive is plants and water which im guessing would run out of too eventually.
