To what does the term "arms" refer in the Second Amendment?
"Arms" means only muskets, early rifles, and pistols of the Revolutionary War era and swords, bayonets, and other handheld weapons of that era.
"Arms" may include modern firearms, but without large clips since semi-automatic weapons would not exist for a century after the Constitution.
"Arms" refers to weapons currently available for purchase in the United States - any handheld firearm which is not fully automatic.
"Arms" can be any handheld firearm, including fully automatic weapons.
"Arms" includes ANY handheld weapon, including all firearms and grenades, Stinger missiles, RPGs, laser weapons once they're invented, etc.
"Arms" includes all weapons ever invented by mankind, including F-16s, aircraft carriers, nuclear weapons, etc.
