If the Big East is smart, and I have no reason to think they are at this point, adding UCF is the best choice for the conference. It would definitely benefit the conference's presence in one of the top recruiting areas in the country, adds a school with world wide academic recognition, and a great wintertime destination when the brass monkeys are leaving Morgantown.

They should add East Carolina. Geographically it makes sense. They have an excellent program with good attendence, and have played winning football against top competition. UCF's program still hasn't proven itself worthy of top notch football. Had Kevin Smith chosen another school, their record would even be more miserable that it is. The USF coach has nothing to brag about other than his team collapses every year. If it weren't for Oleary, the Knights would have beaten them twice.
