I like to think I use a collection of anti-heroes and anti-villans rather than one defined bad guy. Who do you identify as the bad guy off the top of your head?

• Lucifer. Face it, he's the orgin of all of Gabriel's real problems.

• Michael. He misrepresents what he stands for and makes existing problems far worse than they were beforehand.

• Though neither is a full fledged antagonist, Michael and Lucifer each clearly play the part in their own way. Both of them are making things worse.

• I can't say because I don't really believe there is one, like you said. I like the ambiguity, real people aren't black and white, and the story helps demonstrate that.
