I picked "flamethrower" because I suspect when the zombie menace actually hits, many of the methods of zombie neutrallization currently represented in popular culture will have the pproblem of blood and tissue born pathogens. One will most likely need the equivalent of a haz-mat suit to combat zombies and not get infected themselves. Despite the other logistal problems of jellied gasoline, a flamethrower seems to hold out the best likelihood of not spreading the contamination.
