My guilt for loving these guys comes from the fact that I'm a 90's pop generation girl, who loves to believe in romantic love -and nowadays that's a topic ,it seems, gone to extintion. The Backstreet Boys are special and passionate artists, for everyone notices and talks about them, both in a good or a bad way.But the truth is these guys left their mark in our era, and the echoes of their music still can be heard World Wide. I also feel guilty because all the people that surround me can't see why they are special for me. They say they are not talented , they don't like their music (they also say insulting/embarrassing stuff about them, mostly empty unfunded prejudices) they just can't see the beautiful message they spread: the message of love, peace, respect for women, harmony and unity.

If you all think about it, they're the only so-called boyband from that time that still remains.. every time there's a new cd out the craziness comes back and makes us all feel like teens again. And you know, even though time passes by, I think there's not a single person in the world that was a teen back then and that hasn't sang I Want It That Way at least once (and enjoyed doing it).

Ok really? Backstreet Boys, most definitely. What more can you get out of a guilty pleasure than you get out of I Want it That Way, or I'll Never Break Your Heart? If you stop and actually take them seriously, it's pretty obvious that they've got real talent, especially when they sing acapella without all the synthesizers--when they sing together, it's seriously magical. Plus there are FIVE of them, so they get extra brownie points. There.
