I had to turn the TV off when they made "american" style hamburgers.
    No my friend. No.
I've been around Europe and tasted many variations on their idea of a hamburger, and they are clueless.
    This show, clueless as well.
First: you cannot get a proper bun in Britain/Europe. The bread should be soft. soft.soft.
Second: there is no chutney on a hamburger. Ever.
Third: the proper description for beef is "Nebraskan Cornfed". Organic? No. People who fancy organic are not hamburger lovers.
Finally: what goes on an american burger:
    -Soft- sesame seed bun.
beef patty adulterated only with salt and pepper
    ketchup
    yellow mustard (not dijon!)
    dill pickle
    cheddar cheese
    optional:
    onion
    fried bacon
    mayonaisse
    tomato
    lettuce
    -----------
thats it full stop. FULL STOP. An american burger cannot have any other ingredients. Otherwise, its not american.
Again, its about the bread. American style bread cannot be found outside Mcdonalds in Europe as far as I know.
