I actually have a phone that's been crippled by Verizon and I'm looking to upgrade to the Sholes when it comes out. But I'm going to keep telling myself they won't cripple it because that's what I want to believe.
And honestly, while they have a history of that, they were doing it when there wasn't a lot of competition. If they try doing that now with highly publicized phones it's just going to get out that their phones are worse than the other ones out there. Especially if they're removing the GPS and such like they've done in the past because then lots of apps wouldn't work.
