Here's where you get to tell the world what you think. Every week you get to vote on the best that the Dayton area has to offer in entertainment, restaurants, recreation & and a few other bizarro categories.
Have been a member at Premier and Fitworks and now for 2 yrs at Cardinal Fitness. Cardinal rocks, and with a price of only 19.95 it can't be beat. Equipment that works and is modern and a staff that is attentive. I have made great gains in my two years with them and will stay with what works. Regardless of facility though, find what meets your fitness needs and be your own advocate for your level of fitness.

I am shocked that Premier Fitness is still in business, specifically the Centerville location behind the Dayton Mall. With it's dingy, outdated, dirty environment, I would not recommend it to anyone. Also, their "trainers" and management could use a class or two in customer service. Join LA FItness where they know their customers by first name!

The list is out of date. The absolute BEST now is PREMIER FITNESS (on North Main street), NOT just for ladies. It is the former Bally;s location, and has been expanded and improved. They are doing a great job. There is a huge variety of equipment, and plenty of space and facilities. I have visited clubs all over the world, and this one is up there with the best without a doubt.

Studio Zumba is definitely the place to be if you are looking for a great workout. Zumba is a fusion of latin rhythms and easy to follow moves creating a fantastic fitness program.
You should come and party with the best instructors in the area.

I wouldn't classify Studio Zumba as a true "fitness center" like a YMCA - no smelly locker rooms, no foot fungus showers. It's a gorgeous studio type setting where the best mind and body workouts in a number of areas are held by an array of excellent and dedicated instructors. So I'm thrilled that Studio Zumba is outlasting the competition and if you haven't tried Zumba yet this is the place to go - Yoga, Pilates and lots of other stuff too.
