I completely understand the logic of a chicken pox party. Chicken pox has been around for generations, it is well understood by doctors, and the number of deaths per year is very low. However, to expose my child purposely to a virus like swine flu, which is more dangerous than chicken pox, is completely idiotic.
It's ridiculous because the children are most injured by this virus. You need to be innoculated to be protected. I would never subject my son to that. What if purposely letting a child contract H1N1 made light of another illness he had and because he had it the virus killed him? Fools.
