I cannot fathom playing for a team for 17 years, being screwed by Thompson and McCarthy and then buckling to their wants. I give Brett a lot of credit, he got out while the getting out was good. Our team sucks right now and it all rests on the laurels of our front office. Where the heck did we find these morons!!?? If your team is getting the snot beat out of them then you GO HIRE SOME MORE PLAYERS! Hey Thompson get a CLUE WE HATE YOU! So what Brett and the other PURPLE Pansies beat us... WE'RE HURT! Our offensive line is down. Our defense needs to step it up 20 notches. Our Defensive Coordinator needs a swift kick in the seat, (where were all the blitzes that would've hurried Brett and made him make mistakes? You can't give the guy 7+ seconds in the pocket repeatedly and expect to win games!!!! It just doesn't work that way!)
Bottom line is The World's Greatest Team needs a facelift and it needs to start at the TOP.

There was a reason he left, and I think a lot of us know it. And now ARod is seeing it. Ted Thompson is to cheap to buy us a few players to put around the existing good ones, so we keep getting beat. Brett got tired of it, and so he left. Whether he wants revenge or not, I think the the management in Green Bay ought to be regretting their decision, or at least re-thinking future moves. Personally, though, I think we ought not to blame anyone. Take what happened and move on. It's not our place to judge, but we CAN choose our loyalties. I will always think of Brett as a Packer, Rose. You are right. And I sincerley hope he does too. But I am not going to blame him for the swap, and I will try not to blame the management, either. I'll just love him as a Viking, too!

The Packers franchise made a big mistake when they let Brett go,but the GreenBay Packer team, not the franchise,is who I cheer on.I will allways love Brett,no matter what uniform he wears.I still think of Brett as a Packer and every other fan feels that way in a small part of their heart.I will bet you my last dollar some where in his heart, there is a little part that is still a packer,Brett was a Packer for 17 years and that doesn,t just leave you with the snap of a finger.
