I could do some things with the new Canon 1D MK IV, and since you're already in my neighborhood, you could just leave it here.
You really are the best with these contest. They are very appreciated, and I hope they are doing your business good :-)
As far as which camera... I would personally prefer the Canon, but I think everyone has a point. If you throw a Nikon in there, you will increase your views that much more. And if you do what you did with the 5D (offering an equivalent value gift certificate to a photo site), us Canon lovers (or slaves to our lenses) will be just as happy.
I'd like to have either one since I'm a third party (Sony) shooter. I do know Sony makes the Nikon sensors and I also have some Nikon flashes so I'm a bit biased on Nikon and I haven't tried shooting full-frame yet.
If I win, it'll be really cool 'coz I'm probably one of the few here in the Philippines who's been listening to your podcasts. And if I don't, it's still a good thing you're doing helping the Photographer society.

You are like Father Christmas, always giving wonderful toys out! Nikon, yes I am a newbie but I must say, for all my inexperience, I like the feel of the Nikon. Winning is very nice, so if you decide on Canon, I would not refuse. 'o]

The 1D Mark IV will increase your number of followers more than the Nikon.
Both seem to be great cameras but having the Canon Xsi and now the Canon 7D, I'm a bit prejudiced toward's the Canon family.
I prefer the Nikon 3Ds. I only have nikkor / F-mount lenses. However; at this point my lenses are too low-budget to handle a 3Ds. It would be like fitting those small spare-tires (80km/h) on a formula 1 car.
Both! :) I voted for the MK IV because I'm a Canon guy but either camera would make someone very happy. Considering you don't have to give anything away I don't think you can go wrong with either choice (although I'm sure someone will complain either way).
No matter what you choose to do I would like to say thanks for everything that you have given back to the photography community!

Canon all the way and hopefully I will win. Like Richard I own a 50d as well as a film 30E....love them both and would love opportunity to love the 1D Mk IV though currently cant afford one ;p
