The Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies is a center for voices arguing for a responsible, constructive, ethical approach to the most powerful emerging technologies. We believe that technological progress can be a catalyst for positive human development so long as we ensure that technologies are safe and equitably distributed.

There are genes,
there is the regulation of them,
there is imprint (experience tells me that Konrad Lorenz´ idea is different from learning, there are things I tried hard to unlearn and could never, even if the actual situation was different)
and there is the normal learning or coping with a given situation.
And of course the last one, your conscious identity, could be better with a third gender: shaman, childless, something like that is missing in society.
