WriteRoom is a great app; sounds like it has a very similar feature set to the popular SimpleNote:
- Web App Syncing (Notes now syncs, but only with a cable and only to Mail)
- NOT felt marker font
Landscape keyboard and searching used to be big features for both before iPhone OS 3.0. Of course, now Notes has an advantage in that you can use the home screen global search (but as always, you don't have to use any of these apps exclusively).
I've moved it to my home screen in place of Notes because of the features mentioned above and the additional TextExpander integration and display customization (white text on black background in full screen mode is quite nice).
Only gripe is the lack of sorting/orgainizing control. I prefer the most recently edited sort order for Notes (WriteRoom sorts by note title).
If you can catch it on sale (e.g. add to wishlist on http://appshopper.com/productivity/writeroom and subscribe to RSS) it's a great app to have; even at $5 it's worth it with if you have TextExpander or like the display refinements.
