The fact that in Perth public transport is over priced and largely unworkable (disfunctional) for most people, tells me that the government is not really serious about the use of public transport, A small tax saving would not compenstate me giving up gas powered vehicle on a daily basis I woulkd still be out of pocket by $5 and loose 1.5 hours per day in lost time.....wished it was different but it is not!

You are able to salary package a leased vehicle, why not a tax break for those who use public transport.
