It was an interesting question. My answer is vary because many parents who want out but a few parents like to keep them some time. If they have a job then out of the house.

I think you should be out of the house right after high school...go to collage somewere close and only come back every other weekend to get food and money.. and then go back and party.

I think if they don't go to college and just go out into the work field 18-20, but if they go to college, 21-23 because they need time to see what the "real world" is, because college is not the real world

I think this is a good question. It all depends on the situation, if my child is bettering him/herself by going to college, paying off student loans, ect.. and helping around the house with bills, ect... I wouldn't have a problem with it. My sister is going college and more than likely will stay with our parents until she finish which is 22/23 unless she decides to move out(by the way she cooks, clean and do what is expected of her).

I'm sorry but I'm a 21 year old in college and when I'm not living in my dorm (ie breaks and summer) I live at home. I have to save up to go to college, and pay off my loans, there is no way I could have my own place right now.

as of now, the economy it horrible and its hard for kids to move out of their parents homes, but when things turn around they should be gone by the time they are 20 or 21

With the way the economy is right now I say there is no age to move out of your parent's place. The jobs...the housing...everything is screwy lately.
