Do you drive & park to shop in downtown PDX?

Yes - what's the problem, anyway? Downtown is where it's at! (Or suck it up and pay the man, already...)
No - why drive downtown when there's a (mall/store) nearby?
I used to, but recent changes make it a hassle.
What is this "driving" thing you're talking about?

It's becoming harder and harder to be a Downtown Fan. With the economy in the pits, more and more empty store fronts the city sees fit to increase meter rates 60% and start charging on Sunday and also make people pay for those "free" Saturday and Sunday truck zones. To make matters even worse they've restriped streets making full auto lanes into bike lanes. It's no wonder more people are skipping downtown and shopping elsewhere where shopping is easy.
