Did the university even consider those that travel??, the fear of being caught in traffic if traveling from Dudley or Birmingham and then handing in late is stressful, and potentially dangerous! 12 or 2 would be so much better and will cater for all students, not just those that live on campus

I feel 2pm would best suit most people, especially those of us who do live off campus and I am not talking about those in rented accommodation in and around Worcester but those of us whose journey time is anything from 45 mins to 90 mins and not on any bus route. If a train is delayed or cancelled or a traffic problem on the motorway happens or your vehical breaks down it is much easier to get to and from Uni by 2pm than 9am. You may argue that we should not leave submitting the essay at the last minute and you would have a valid point, maybe we should submit it the day before, yes I agree, so go back to the 4pm deadline. I have to admit I feel the reason given for 9am is a weak one, if students were missing lectures to get essays done by 4pm then they will be missing lectures to get them done by 9am too, if someone pulls an all nighter they may be too tired to attend morning or afternoon lectures. I think 2pm is a good time.
