I would love to see a green home in North Louisiana. Louisiana is a sportsman paradise. Remember I said North Louisiana away from the Gulf coast. But I would settle for North Carolina

If your going to go green, you have to go all the way and choose a green state...CO is the way to go!!!! Oregon or Washington State would be a good choice as well, but that wasn't an option in the poll.

I looked them up and the one that stood out to me was Del Sur, San Diego because i always wanted to live in CA anyways and its very nice. It has beaches, the perfect summer weather and it would be nice to have a green home there... just like the florida home.

I would love to spend my time in the Blue Vista, Boulder, CO where people are friendly and you can set by the fire, enjoy a Christmas with all of the snow. Thats what I would love. They should give theses homes away before the Holidays so then the people who win could spend there time in the house with all of the Holiday Decoration and all.Love what they do and love the designer too. Keep up the great work and GO GREEN America. Becka

I would like to see a different architect and home designer in the next house you build. You have used the same duo for many years. It is time for a big change. The designer for dream home, uses what she likes. The house should be decorated for others. She puts so much junk in the houses, that they look crowded. The first thing I would do, would be to remove what she likes. Her ideas are stale. Why has she been with HGTV so long. There are many designers that are better than she.
I think N.C. is good because of the weather and it has colleges and people could spend much time outdoors , and close to many interest

San Diego is my choice for lots of reasons. Let me count the ways:
(1) The weather is perfect. The light is so good that many artists live and work there. Citrus and avocados grow in backyards throughout the region. The weather is so moderate that storms are almost unknown.
(2) Industry is diversified. The greater San Diego area has military bases, light industry, tourism, and many employment opportunities.
(3) Recreation abounds. The sun, sand, and sea are famous. But did you know that the Laguna mountains are nearby? There are hiking and biking trails all over the area. Swimming, surfing, sailing, and kayaking are just minutes away. Mexico is next door. The desert is just out of town. Have you ever been to a beach party? Biked the strand from Coronado island almost to Imperial beach? And the restaurants! Have you ever had a really good fish taco? From the region where it originated?
I could go on an on, but you get my message. There is no place more wonderful, more beautiful than San Diego to build a dream home.
