To be an effective church in the world today takes more than just the bias information that a one choice poll can give.
It takes teaching and preaching the truth. Without honesty in the teaching of the church, nothing else really matters.
Secondly, an effective church needs to show and act upon True Compassion. The one single word in the New Testament use to describe the character of Jesus is compassion.
Third, the effective church has to have an active faith in God that He can make things happen even when others remain paralyzed in fear and doubt.
Forth the effective church hears the concerns of the flock and does not discourage differing opinions, but embraces the diversity that each member brings to the worship table.
Once the church has developed these first four qualities, then it will naturally reach out to the community and do unselfish good to all people especially those in the Household of Faith.
