It does seem pretty hypocritical. Had that been a female popstar it would not have been that big of a deal. The performance was shown right before 11pm so it wasn't in the family viewing hours. Had this been shown in Europe no one would have given it a second thought but here in America you would think he laid someone out and had sex with him on tv during the childrens hour.

If Brittany, Madonna, and other artist can dance sexually and share a same sex kiss on stage, why can't he?? Whether or not it was for shock value, he is still amazing!!

Ok I didn't think it was too much. Why is it ok for Lesbians to be seen kissing other women yet if a man does it to another man society is grossed out? I'm a straight woman and that wasn't too much for me. I think I'll go find the album.

To jamie: As opposed to, too much IN YOUR FACE heterosexuality? Why is it OK for heteros to make out and touch each other all over the place but not for a gay man? Hypocrites are out in full force today regarding this issue. gah.
Also, have you even heard Adam's new album? He does not scream, why don't you give it a listen at Adam's myspace? It's a brilliant debut album.

i thought it was just gross and totally unnecessary. i can't stand his screaming that he does anyway, but the performance was just too much IN YOUR FACE homosexuality. not necessary.
